Come dance with us

SO, I got myself up off the lounge room floor and did the 5 hours drive north of my home to Brisbane.  My back is doing great actually, my sciatic pain is gone completely... I just have this lingering calf pain, but I am ok.  I decided to bring my daughter with me to this trade show, and its amazing how well this 14 year old is doing in the big city.She built most of the booth for me!  She is good with the tools (all of those years of her watching us build the house, she must have noticed something).Here we are on set up day. What I learnt from 4 years of being a BUYER

As I am starting my preparations for Surf Expo (our biggest show of the year) I had a flash back to several years ago, when I was a buyer preparing to travel to the summer trade shows.  I remember the preparations for a buyer to be far more challenging than they are for me now as a vendor. Caribbean island influences

At the age of 29 I had quit my high paying, high stress, glamorous job as Head Designer at Billabong South Africa to go sailing to the Caribbean.  Here I am in the messy chaotic design room at Billabong SA.
